What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Katrina: When I'm not blogging, I make jewelry and like to have a fun time shooting photos of food from hole-in-the-wall restaurants in nearby towns.

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Katrina: Oh my gosh, I don't know if I want to reveal my inner nerd! I like to design and program user interfaces (yay for putting academia to use!) and play Settlers of Catan with my roommates.

Are there any style icons that inspire you? Who and how?

Katrina: I absolutely adore Keiko Lynn (www.keikolynn.com) and Sydney (www.tandsdaybook.blogspot.com) for their modest and feminine style. They both make me want to wear dresses and skirts all the time!

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Katrina: Here's my little secret: I go thrift shopping and always accept hand-me-downs from my family and friends. I like to sew and reconstruct clothing, which definitely helps to keep my wardrobe budget-friendly while ensuring that all the pieces are really "me" at the same time.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Katrina: A pair of wedges! I just recently bought my first pair and I adore them. Not only do I find wedges to be much more comfortable than regular heels, but I also love the fact that you can dress them up or down for any occasion!

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

Katrina: Personality! The sweet soul that lies behind the surface of any woman will shine through in everything she does. I wholeheartedly believe that beauty comes from the inside.

For this Winter, you are coveting:

Katrina: I'm coveting warm weather!! (just kidding... a little) I am coveting a black and white houndstooth jacket. I have yet to find the perfect one!

What 5 items do you always have in your purse?

Katrina: I always have my cell phone, a notebook, lip gloss, camera, and a pen. Most people wonder why I carry a notebook and the only thing I can say is that I love jotting down ideas. I get inspired a lot as I travel throughout the day and need a place to write down my ideas. Pictures never hurt, either!

Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?

Katrina: I currently reside in Toronto (Canada) and love to shop on Queen Street West. My favourite shops on this street are Te Koop (specializing in handbags), Black Market (vintage goods and silk-screen shirts), and Preloved (reconstructed clothing).

What label(s)/store(s) do you favor?

Katrina: I love to support handmade. As of right now, my favourite labels are Postlapsaria, Peeko Apparel, Minx, and Lipgloss & Black
